Quartz epoxy
flooring

Colored quartz sand broadcast into resin makes a dense, textured floor that stands up to foot traffic, water and cleaning.

What is quartz system?

A quartz system is a resin floor with colored quartz aggregate broadcast into it and sealed with clear coats. The quartz builds thickness and texture, which makes the floor slip resistant and hard wearing. It is common in commercial kitchens, restrooms, locker rooms and other wet, busy spaces.

Best for

  • Commercial kitchens and food prep
  • Restrooms and locker rooms
  • Pool decks under cover and wet areas
  • Breweries, vet clinics and kennels
  • High-traffic hallways and entries

Straight talk

Every system has tradeoffs. Here is what we tell customers before they choose:

  • Quartz floors are textured on purpose. Very aggressive texture is harder to mop, so we match the grit to the space.
  • Commercial jobs often need work outside business hours. We plan the schedule around your operation.
  • An integral cove base (floor that curves up the wall) is common in kitchens and costs extra.

How we install it

The quartz system process

  1. Site review

We review traffic, chemicals, drains, and any health code or spec requirements.

  2. Diamond grind and repair

The slab is ground, cracks are routed and filled, and edges are detailed.

  3. Broadcast coats

Resin goes down and quartz is broadcast to build thickness and grip.

  4. Grout coat

A grout coat fills the texture to the level you need.

  5. Topcoat

A clear topcoat seals the floor and sets the final texture.

FAQ

Quartz System questions

Is quartz better than flake?
They do different jobs. Flake is the go-to for garages and homes. Quartz is built for wet, busy commercial spaces where slip resistance and durability matter most.
Can you add a cove base?
Yes. A cove base carries the floor up the wall so there is no seam at the corner where water and grime collect. It is common in kitchens and restrooms.
Can you work after hours?
Commercial scheduling is planned with you. Tell us your hours and we will build the install schedule around them.
